Meet Dr. Kung
Dr. Yungtai “Tai” Kung joined the Eye Specialists of Napa Valley in 2019.
Dr. Kung attended the University of California Irvine where he majored in biological sciences. He went on to earn his medical degree from New York Medical College where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society for being one of the top students in his class. From there, he completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of Washington in Seattle. Following residency, Dr. Kung completed a fellowship in glaucoma at OHSU Casey and Legacy Devers Eye Institutes in Portland, OR.
Dr. Kung has had a number of publications and presentations throughout his post-graduate training; however, he is most passionate about taking excellent care of his patients.

Dr. Kung greatly enjoys seeing a broad range of ophthalmological conditions and specializes in the management and surgical treatment of glaucoma.
